Durrani moved in Los Angeles in order to become well known there. The selection process was for her to be the job of director of merchandise at the DASH store located in Calabasas. In 2012, the store relocated from Calabasas in California to West Hollywood. The temporary store in Southampton, New York opened its doors to the public at the beginning of 2014. When she was working in the shop was when she appeared on "Kourtney And Khloe: Take The Hamptons", a spin-off. Initial reports suggested that the producers would introduce DASH's employees for the purpose of gauging public reactions to the spin-off. Popal was identified as the main character of a brand new show on television called 'Dash Dolls', which features herself and her fellow cast members. Durrani Popal has been heavily influenced by Kim Kardashian and finds her style of dressing inspiring.
