Coleman was born in Blackpool Lancashire. She was headgirl of Arnold School, Blackpool and was awarded straight A's on her A-levels. While discussing her character in Emmerdale Coleman confessed her regret of being unable to attend a college. Coleman was a part of a theatre company, In Yer Space while during her time at university. The company performed during the Edinburgh Festival for the play Crystal Clear. The production also received an enthusiastic reception. They awarded her for her exceptional performance. Coleman was given the part as Jasmine Thomas at Emmerdale while performing in drama school in 2005. In 2007, Coleman was nominated for two prizes. In 2007, Coleman was nominated for two awards: The British Soap Awards as the Most Popular Newcomer, as well as the National Television Awards as the Most Popular. The award was presented to her in the categories of Best Actress, Sexiest Woman and for the Best Dramatic Performance at the British Soap Awards 2009. Coleman has been nominated as Best Actress by the TV Choice Awards. Steven Moffat, the producer of Doctor Who confirmed in a 21st March 2012 press announcement that Coleman will be Matt Smith's partner following the departure of Karen Gillan left. Moffat has chosen her for the role because she proved to be the most efficient with Smith and could speak faster than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Since 1987, she has performed in television and film projects. But she's been more prominent on TV as opposed to films. Eva is most well-known for her roles as her character, Dr. Maria Santos on All My Children and detective Natalia Boavistas on CSI Miami. The former even earned her two Daytime Emmy nominations and gave her a chance to discover her talent in music. In addition to being a performer, Eva is also a donor and entrepreneur. Her marriage has occurred three times and also has a daughter with her second husband.
