Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American author and designer who has won numerous awards for her work. She has been a vocal advocate for animal rights. The actress has won praise for her roles in films such as Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969), and The Getaway, (1972). New York was her home and she grew up in an environment that was artistic. The first job she had was a photo assistant. After that, she switched to modelling and acting. She won an award called the Golden Globe Award in 1990 for being a promising young actress. Her film MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was a huge hit that brought her fame worldwide in addition to being an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. MacGraw was deemed the top female box-office star of the world after only three releases. At Grauman's Chinese Theater, in 1972, she got her handprints and signature engraved. She has starred in several different films, such as The Getaway Convoy Players and TV miniseries The Winds of War among others. Her autobiography Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw was married three times.
